There is no truth to the reports that Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) cameras
are to be installed in the Jaffna city, Jaffna Security Forces Commander
Major General Mahinda Hathurusingha said today (September 5).
No
such decision has been taken, he told Ada Derana completely refuting
media reports that a CCTV camera system is to be implemented in Jaffna
for security purposes.
